Inner Dragons

We go through phases in life where (thanks to Netflix), we binge on some amazing TV Series or just binge on movies in general.

Lately I got addicted to Fargo (series)

Fargo season 1

Maps used to have dragons to warn travelers to not take that path. Not any more. Dragons are everywhere now. The mental circuitry is so complex, we are just standing on the fence before our inner beast unleashes out and does something we may regret.
The world is not Black and White any more, not Good and Bad any more.
(Paraphrasing) In Hinduism, it is believed that the as time progresses, the shades of world/heaven and earth/good and bad will all start coming closer. It is believed that in this era God and Devil can reside within the same person. It is all collapsing so to speak, coming together.
I am not sure it is what is meant to be but look around, it sure seems like happening.

One fine morning, a Tom Dick or Harry is just about doing all altruistic deeds, living an honest life but then switch. Stepping out of set rules labeling us from Good to Bad. One cheats, or breaks rules or some hurtful action but then justifies oneself that we are only human. Shades of Grey is all what we are.
No one is pure but doesn't automatically fall into the impure category either.

Straight after Fargo, I watched a movie coincidentally falling into "based on true events" category again. Raghav Raman. Brilliant depiction of a serial killer from the 60s in Mumbai slums.
Raghav Raman

Towards the end of the movie, the Murderer once again mentions his crimes and with utmost sincerity he accepts what he did and no bias in his actions, no regrets, no reason. The total randomness of his actions baffled me. He says so many people commit so many crimes(mainly murders) under the big umbrella of religion, faith, money, power etc.
Motivate people properly and take them to Syria to freely kill in the name of faith or injustice.
Say the right things, join the army and yet again, here's your license to wipe out an entire race if weaponry permits. Either side thinks they are doing the right thing or at least convince themselves it is for the greater good.

All are lying to their Inner Dragons. We all have them. Let's face it, it is really hard to control the beast. Let's just hope the Monster in us seeks much more reasoning than just faith, power, money etc to unleash itself to this already Grey world.
Not far from now, the Good and Bad will be so amalgamated within each other, darkness will be the new light.
